Mr. Lin’s other work experiences include being a consultant with The Boston Consulting Group (in the Los Angeles office) where he worked on assignments in the US, Korea and Canada. As an International Projects Manager at Monsanto, a leading US life sciences company, he led projects in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia.
He was then the Director of Growth and Commercial Development at Solutia (a Monsanto spin-off), based in Singapore, where he identified, evaluated and negotiated joint venture and acquisition opportunities in Asia Pacific. Prior to business school, he was a Platoon Leader and Assistant Battalion Operations Officer in an elite rapid deployment force in the US Army.
He has an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.S., Aerospace Engineering, from the US Military Academy at West Point (graduating in the top 2% of the class). He has completed some of the toughest schools in the Army such as Ranger and Airborne School.
